Sustainability certificate for students
Anyone interested can apply between 10 and 17 September 2026.
With its sustainability certificate, Fulda University of Applied Sciences has been offering its students an additional qualification/skill in the field of sustainability since the summer semester of 2025.
The various facets of sustainability are becoming increasingly important, not only globally but also in the world of work. In our everyday lives, too, we often ask ourselves: Is this sustainable? And what exactly does sustainability actually mean?
The new Sustainability Certificate gives students the opportunity to learn about the basics and various dimensions of sustainability. They also discover how these can be used in their professions and gain inspiration for their own personal lives. Furthermore, it provides deeper insights into sustainability aspects within their own field of study.
In the coming winter semester, the introductory module ‘Understanding and Shaping Sustainability: Principles, Perspectives and Transformation’ will be held in English for the first time.
