Are you an international student preparing for the upcoming semester at HS Fulda? Our two-day workshop series offers a practical introduction to academic culture and academic writing in Germany. On October 8 and 9, 2026, the Writing Center will offer four workshops covering key skills for studying and writing successfully:

Read Between the Lines – Strategies for Reading Academic Literature

Friday, 9 October, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Getting Unstuck: Strategies for Overcoming Writer’s Block

1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m.
From Draft to Final Paper: Revising Your Academic Writing

The workshops are designed primarily for international students who would like to become more familiar with academic expectations and develop practical strategies for their studies. All workshops will be held in English.
